Early one spring morning, with dew like diamonds agleam,
I sprang from a restful slumber, bursting with a jubilant dream.


Perched on my windowsill, a Robin, the season’s first guest,
Strutted without a care—oh, what a merry, fearless jest!

The flowers popped with brilliance, a riot of festive hue,
New grass hugged the pathways, dressed in emerald morning dew.


This bold little Robin, a herald of spring’s grand cheer,
Paraded like a bandleader, trumpeting far and near.


It sang a lively jig, it danced with a twirl and a bound,
Grey squirrels clapped from the lawn, enchanted by the sound.


No dream this, but a spectacle, a wake-up call so grand,
I leapt up with a grin, marveling at nature’s band.


The day sparked with wonder, my heart in a joyous whirl,
A carnival of spring unfurled, starring that Robin, my pearl.


In a quiet, giddy pause, I eased the window down with glee,
A tiny tap on its head—oops!—still, it chirped a tune for me!
